Bumped to second

It turns out that the original winner of the FXstreet Trader contest was unable to have his trading record verified by his broker. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue, ekaram was disqualified.

This means that I have been bumped up from third place into second. It also means that my trading record for the period June to September was verified by the two brokers I used during that period (FX Solutions and Forex.com). Just thought that I would point that out in case anyone was wondering about the validity of the trading record that I post on this blog.

Francesc Riverola, CEO of FXstreet, was kind enough to invite me to speak at the International Traders Conference taking place at the end of this month in Barcelona. While my wife and I would love to visit Barcelona I have a pretty hectic work schedule for the next few weeks so I had to decline the offer.

If this first Traders Conference is a success for FXstreet then they have big plans to host one in New York next year, which I think is a great idea, and would certainly be far easier for me to attend.

One other interesting fact worth noting is that the new winner of the trading contest, Zunismyst, also uses the BWILC trading strategy. Coincidence or just further proof that the 4×1 methodology laid out in BWILC can be successfully used by other traders?
