Speak your mind

It can often be hard to tell the difference between what is a scam and what’s the real deal when evaluating a forex product.

Is the forex broker you’re investigating reputable and honest? Is their trading platform stable and their customer service prompt and helpful?

Is that forex ebook you’ve come across really worth $70?

Up till now one of the few websites offering anything close to a comprehensive forex review service has been ForexBastards. The only problem is that while purportedly offering a service to help people avoid forex scams, ForexBastards is anything but clean itself.

ForexBastards is primarily a honey pot for Dimitri Chavkerov’s own forex related products and services. All of Dimitiri’s services get high marks and feature awfully few negative reviews, especially given the vitriol and bile found elsewhere on the internet by people who have tried his services in the past and found them to be severely lacking. While the reviews available are valuable in that they were posted by real people, that value is limited due to the fact that not all reviews are visible.

The reviews published on ForexBastards have been hand-picked which results in an obvious skew to the sort of reviews which are posted and the products that are covered. I knew this from personal experience as I’ve submitted several reviews which have never appeared.

There is a new forex review service being offered by Forex4Noobs that replicates the scope, breath and style of the ForexBastards review section, but without the editorial restrictions and shameless self-promotion.

I think this could be a very useful service if it gets the support and reviews to make it a comprehensive database of all things forex related. If you have an opinion, good or bad, on a forex broker, book, signal service, education or mentoring service, then do your good deed for the day and post your comment so that others can benefit from your experience and make a more informed choice as a result.

While on this topic, I’ll also highlight two other forex review sites that I am aware of. One that has been seemingly around for quite a while but doesn’t seem to have made much traction is Forex Anonymous. The other is a more recent entry into the fray entitled The Forex Reviewer.
