Never give up, never give in
I’ve been listening to an audio book version of Napoleon Hill’s classic Think And Grow Rich on my daily commute for the past week.
There has been one point made that has really struck home to me as I’ve listened to this book again. This single point is said in several different ways throughout the book and has many different examples to back it up.
Just after our greatest defeat befalls us lies our greatest success.
At the point when all seems lost and you have no will to go on, that is when you are truly tested. If you stop and give up then you will never achieve what you have so long worked for. On the other hand, if you dig deep and find that the glowing ember of desire still burns within you then you can struggle on. You can rekindle your motivation and continue the journey. It is often just after we have made that breakthrough, by pushing past our greatest failure, that we find what we have so long strived for.
Quitters never win. Winners never quit.
